5 – 7 March 2016, Muscat, Oman

We are very excited to announce that our wedding planning is now well underway, we have chosen to have a destination wedding that will bring both our families and friends together. After visiting Oman in 2012, we instantly fell in love with this secluded paradise. Sifawy Boutique Hotel is set off a long beaten desert path, protected by stunning rustic mountains and with an opening into the tranquility of the Arabian Sea. The location is a perfect setup for a truly memorable and once in a lifetime experience, we very much hope you are able to join us there.

Flights

BA and Oman Air both fly directly to Muscat from London. BA has a short stopover in Abu Dhabi. Emirates offer a free stop-over in Dubai and currently have a flight sale so prices are quite competitive. There are a number of other airlines that fly indirect.

We have been liaising with an agent at the Flight Centre to advise on the best flight options. You can contact Roberta Thomas who will be able to assist:

Accommodation

We recommend that you stay at the Sifawy Boutique Hotel between the 5th and 7th March as the nearest alternative hotel Shangri-La is a 45 minute drive away. The main city Muscat, is about a 60 minute drive away. Room rates are as follows:

Standard double room – 65 OMR per room per night
Suite room – 85 OMR per room per night

To reserve a room download and send this form to:

Weather

We expect the weather to be ideal for catching some winter sunshine. The average March temperature is 25 – 30 C. We will be in the desert and close to the sea so temperatures will become slightly cooler during the evening. Hopefully no rain!

Transport

Transport will be provided to the hotel from Muscat Airport. Should you wish to explore Oman, you could hire a car. If you are planning to drive to the resort, then please let us know so we can advise you on the route.
